NMSU' Hazing Prevention Consortium #6 hosted its first formal instructional workshop for faculty and staff, with a focus on character development and hazing prevention. Student Life extends its sincere appreciation to Dr. Erin Blaugrund and Mr. Corey Ciocchetti for delivering impactful and informative presentations to NMSU employees.
As part of NMSU’s participation in the StopHazing Initiative through Hazing Prevention Consortium #6, training sessions were developed to enhance faculty and staff understanding of hazing prevention.
This training was presented to the staff of the Office of Equity, Inclusion, and Diversity.
The Aggie Core Values training helps NMSU students understand what it truly means to be an Aggie. Grounded in Student Life LEADS Values— Leadership, Excellence, Accountability, Dignity, and Student Service and Success — this presentation encourages students to hold themselves and their peers to a higher standard.
In addition to promoting our shared values, the training also covers hazing prevention, bystander intervention, and how to report hazing, all with the goal of fostering a safe, inclusive, and welcoming campus community for every student.
NMSU Hazing Prevention Consortium members teamed up to develop a community based Hazing Prevention segment on KRUX 91.5 FM.
